b'Robert Murray Uaine, 2015 Painted Metal, 60 x 40 x 30 inches MSFA: 7201 Robert Murray (American-Canadian, b. 1936) is a sculptor, printmaker and painter. He studied at the University of Saskatchewans Regina College School of Art, attending the legendary workshops at Emma Lake led by Jack Shadbolt, Barnett Newman, and Clement Greenberg in 1962. His brightly coloured sculptures can be found across Canada and are reminiscent of the work of Alexander Calder and Jean Arp, whilst his use of colour defines him as a Colour Field artist.'
